Biography

Kankana Roy received the B.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata, India, in 2011. She was the fourth top student in her class. She completed her M.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, India, in 2013. She was third topper in her class. She obtained Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, Kharagpur, India, in 2021. She was part of Computation vision lab led by Professor Rajiv Ranjan Sahay.  She was employed as a software engineer at the NRI Financial Technologies from 2013 to 2015. Presently, she is a research and development specialist at University of Luxembourg, Luxembourg.
