CVI²

Djamila Aouada

is Senior Research Scientist and Assistant Professor at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability, and Trust (SnT) of the University of Luxembourg. She is Head of the Computer Vision, Imaging and Machine Intelligence (CVI2) research group, and cohead of the Zero-G Space Lab. Her research interests include 3D vision (shape modelling, RGB-D data) and multisensor fusion. Djamila served as Chair of SHARP Workshops (ECCV‘20, CVPR‘21, CVPR‘22, ICCV‘23), Chair of SPARK at ICIP‘21, Area Chair at 3DV‘20 and 3DV‘22, Program Chair at 3DV‘21, General Chair at RTIP2R‘22, Co-organizer of AI4Space at ECCV‘22, and Program Chair at EUVIP‘23. She will serve as Area Chair at ECCV 2024.

Arunkumar Rathinam

is a Research Associate at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability, and Trust (SnT) at the University of Luxembourg and is associated with Computer Vision, Machine Intelligence and Imaging (CVI2) research group. He received his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, in 2019. Before joining SnT, he worked as a Research Associate at the University of Surrey, UK. Currently, at CVI2, he is the technical lead on the ESA-DIOSSA project focusing on the development of deep learning algorithms for spacecraft pose estimation for on-orbit servicing scenarios. His research interests are mainly autonomous spacecraft navigation, SLAM, and machine learning for vision-based spacecraft navigation. 

Vincent Gaudillière

is a Research Associate at SnT, University of Luxembourg, and a member of the Computer Vision, Imaging and Machine Intelligence (CVI2) research group. He received his PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Lorraine, France, in 2020. His PhD research was carried out at the French National Institute for Research in Digital Science and Technology (Inria). His research interests are at the interface between geometry and deep learning for visual localization. He served as Session Chair at IROS 2023.

Mohamed Adel Musallam

is a 4th year industrial PhD student in the CVI2 research group at SnT, working under the supervision of Prof. Djamila Aouada. Mohamed received his Master’s degree in computer vision from the University of Burgundy Franche-Comté (France), in 2019. His research interests are in Computer Vision and Deep Learning focusing on object recognition, pose estimation, and space situational awareness.
